My Continuing Thoughts on the Nikon Z7

The other day I was out again with my Z7, the converter, and my Nikon 200-500 mm lens on a tripod. I did not get any images of birds in flight that was in the open. However, I obtained a series of photographs of an American crow leaving a branch. It did not fly toward me but away from me. Usually, I would have rejected these images, but on furtherance section found that most of them were in focus, showing that the camera was able to maintain focus.

DP preview published an article on what they considered the best mirrorless lenses for 2018. Nikon Z6 was number one, and Nikon Z7 was number three.

As I continue to read the many articles and watch the videos with comparisons of these new Nikon mirrorless cameras with standard DSLR, it’s seeming more like the new mirrorless Nikon cameras will be the way to go. Do you all have any thoughts about this? Please enter a comment with your thoughts.
