The last two mornings there has been fog here in southeastern Massachusetts. Yesterday I went out before sunrise hoping that when the sun rose, I would get golden light streaming through the fog. Well, no such luck. The fog and clouds with dense in fact the sun didn’t so it’s golden face until midmorning. I did create a few morning fog images.
Today I decided to go out to Gooseberry, again hoping for golden light of the sun after it rose and again no such luck the sky conditions with the same and I again created a few images.
A bright spot was the presence of many spiderwebs which had dew drops on them.
We are also receiving the effects of tropical storm/hurricane Jose on the surf which also lent for a few pictures. I obtained an image of the wave breaking as it was reaching the shore which showed the top whitewater frozen and if you look beneath the crest, there are many black and brown spots visible, because of the sand and dirt that is being washed up from the shoreline.
The fog and surf activity according to the Weather Bureau should persist through Wednesday. If you decide to go out and photograph the ocean, please observe the waves, so you don’t get hit by a massive wave and knocked into the water where you could suffer previous harm.
