To capture interesting scenics, you need to explore along Bell Rock Road to Blossom Road in the woods. Two approaches to reach Bell Rock Road is either to follow up High Street or Copicut Rd. in Freetown to the intersection with Bell Rock Road. Bill Rock Road is in decent shape until after the last house on it. After that, the road is in terrible repair with many portholes, and the problem with the way continues both onto Yellow Hill Road and Blossom Street until you get into Westport. If you go slow, you can make it with an ordinary car, but high-rise SUV or truck is better.
Before you reach the first house, you come across a vast swamp, which is the headwaters of Rattlesnake Brook.
As you continue down the road, keep an eye out for dirt road on the left, and in the woods is an old cabin.
Next, you come to the Bell Rock electrical substation.
After that, you continue down and taking the left turn onto Blossom Road or Yellow Hill Road, and I recommend Blossom Road. On the road is the Wattuppa reservoir headquarters.
When you finally reach Westport, the road is in great shape, and there are old barns and an early church on the way.
The best day is a foggy a cloudy day, and it helps make the colors stand out.
