Yesterday afternoon I went back to Tamarac Park and spent my time photographing the yellow-rumped warblers along with an Eastern Phoebe and a Downy Woodpecker. I was trying out a Nikon TC III 1.4 X converter with my Nikon 200-500 mm lens. What I did not do yesterday was fine-tune the lens/camera combination. That is on the agenda for today. However, so far I am happy with the mix.
I obtained some action images of the yellow-rumped warbler, plus an image showing its field marks better.
I also obtain an action photo of the eastern phoebe and the downy woodpecker feeding on the tree trunk.
