Hotel Bougainvillea

Why am I writing about a hotel? I have visited Costa Rica on four different occasions, traveling with Fote Verde Tours. Staying on arrival and the day before leaving Costa Rica, we stay at the Hotel Bougainvillea. I agree with the quote from the hotel’s website.

“The Hotel Bougainvillea is an oasis
of peace and tranquility.
One of the few independent hotels left in the Central Valley in Costa Rica, this well-located place overflows with personality. Ten acres of botanical gardens, art, rocks and minerals, a restaurant very much liked by locals as well as visitors, swimming pool, tennis courts, and most importantly, the people who work with us, all conspire to make the hotel a destination rather than just a stop-over.”

This blog will show images of the hotel and garden, and following blogs will describe flora and fauna found around the gardens. Of course, the variety will be different depending on the season of the year.
