As I am continuing to re-explore older images, I came across one picture of the blurry tree that was taken through our buses window as we were traveling to Bosque De Paz. I used my Nikon D 7000 and my Nikon 18-105 mm lens. Settings were 1/25th of the 2nd, F/8, ISO 400, 18 mm, and +1 2/3 EV.
As I looked at the picture, I decided to process it as an impressionistic painting. Starting in LightRoom, I made my basic adjustments and then exported the image to Photoshop. The first thing I did was to delete the wires since I thought they took away from the scene. I then duplicated the background layer and opened the impressionistic mode in Topaz Studio. After looking at the various choices, I chose one of Cézanne’s settings to come up with my final picture.
