I do not know about you, but, identifying plants and insects at times, it is challenging even though I have many excellent field guides. Googling for help in the identification has led me to some sites that have proven very useful in identifying the object.
On Facebook, there is a group for plant identification that is incredibly fast in coming up with the identification. This is my go to site for any plant identification, and anybody can join the site and submit an image https://www.facebook.com/groups/156706504394635/
Thanks to Clay Bolt, in an article he posted a site that will help identify bumblebees. You have to join the site, and there are steps to go through to present an image for identification. https://www.bumblebeewatch.org/
I also belong to the bug guide site which helps identify insects and arachnids nohttp://bugguide.net/. The response time can be speedy or very long. There is no rhyme or reason to the time that it takes for identification to show up.
For moths and butterflies, I use the butterfly and moth site https://www.butterfliesandmoths.org/.
I hope these links are useful for you and if you utilize other links, please add those links in the comments section to help other people.
