I awoke this morning at 5 AM, to find my room lit up by a bright light. The light came from a waning gibbous moon. The moon was full yesterday morning, and this morning it was 99.3% complete. The January full moon is known as the Wolf Moon.
I got my camera and photographed the bright moon through my window. The sky was bright Most of the time, but, fast-moving clouds raced over the heavens. To obtain an image of the clouds in the moon, since I was not using a tripod, and not wanting to hide the clouds in the blackness of the sky, I used a low shutter speed. I took an image with the clouds and a blown out moon, along with a picture of the moon and combined both in Photoshop to demonstrate what I had seen this morning.
